Song Hailiang talks with Egyptian Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy Mohamed Shaker

On October 26, local time, Song Hailiang, Secretary of the Party Committee and chairman of China Energy Construction, held talks with Mohamed Shaker, Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy of Egypt, in Cairo. The two sides exchanged views on implementing the important consensus reached by the heads of state of China and Egypt, promoting deeper synergy between the Belt and Road Initiative and Egypt's Vision 2030, accelerating the green and low-carbon energy transformation in Egypt, and promoting deeper and more concrete cooperation in the field of energy and power.
Song Hailiang briefly introduced the situation of China Energy Construction's deep participation in the construction of Egypt's energy and power sector. He said that China Energy Construction attaches great importance to cooperation with all parties in Egypt, and during the third "Belt and Road" International Cooperation Forum just held, China Energy Construction and all parties in Egypt signed a series of cooperation memoranda around the landscape hydrogen storage integration, logistics industrial park, pumped storage and other fields, laying a good foundation for further deepening cooperation between the two sides. He said that Egypt's development needs in the field of energy and power are highly consistent with China's advantages. As the world's leading energy, power and infrastructure integration solution provider, China Energy Construction will adhere to the "Belt and Road" initiative and Egypt's "Vision 2030" development strategy, relying on advanced technology advantages, rich experience advantages and green energy industry chain integration advantages.
